So I mentioned before about my daily practice called 'Design-A-Day.' Like any good exercise it is something you have to commit to doing, keep doing it long enough for it to become a habit, and then keep the habit going to the point that you can't not do it.
I'm just about to the habit stage. That is if you follow the idea of doing something for 21 days makes it a habit. I've been doing it longer, but for the past roughly month I have been much more diligent about the every day thing.
The good things.... getting more and more good designs to work with. Finding new uses for some of the different tools in the design software. Getting a better grasp of my own design style.
The bad things.... finding some new tool in the design software that sends me down a rabbit hole of 'what does this thing do.' Realizing that after twenty years of using some of this software there are still so many things I didn't know it could do.
All in all... I am enjoying the exercise and the good is still outweighing the bad.
This was today's design, it will show up as a new product eventually.
