When you keep going back to a thing...

Posted by Chip Kerr on

So someone sent me this article a few years back and I didn't read it all the way through but did bookmark because I wanted to read it. A bit later when I came back to the article, finished it, I decided I was going to leave it in the bookmarks folder because I knew I would come back to the article again. And probably more than once.

The article is titled "What does it mean to be a quiet professional" and is written buy a Mr Rob Shaul. I have to be honest and say that I haven't looked at any other part of that website nor looked for anything else by Mr Shaul and as I type this I am thinking I probably should change that. Anyway....

The article goes through a simple process of how to get good at what you do, how to work hard, do it for the love of doing it, always look for the learning opportunity..... all the stuff you would normally hear in a Steve Covey Seminar or Tony Robbins Motivational speech, but somehow not as annoying as those things. Like I said, I keep coming back to this article and I never wanted to go back to those other things.

Here is the link to the article:

Check it out. I think you will like it. And if speaks to you at any level you add it to your bookmarks folder so you can keep coming back to it too.
